Chicken Explorer currently publishes fifteen breed profiles and one egg-color reference. Additional breed drafts, rankings, and tools stay outside the publication manifest until their evidence passes the same gates.
How sources work
Every published source entry links to the current live page and visibly discloses the retained quote text and fetch date stored for that fact ID. Source HTML is removed from the displayed text for readability; the exact raw quote remains in the retained fact record, and the live page can change after that recorded fetch. Published prose and structured fields map back to those fact IDs. AI-generated editorial images are disclosed separately and do not define a breed or egg-color label.
What the site covers
The available catalog contains the fifteen-breed library and a sourced egg-color reference. The breed picker, flock-size calculator, ranking, and all other breed drafts remain unavailable while their data-integrity work is incomplete.
Scope boundaries
Chicken Explorer does not publish veterinary diagnoses, treatment instructions, or medication dosing. Any future city guides will quote and link to published ordinances without deciding what a reader legally may or may not do.
